The card we looked at wasn’t just a vanilla reference card. XFX sent over a retail-ready GeForce 7950 GT 570M Extreme, complete with a dead-silent, passive cooler. And to top it off, the card is pre-overclocked from the factory as well for a bit of a performance boost. Did it tear up the benchmarks? Check out the gory details here…

When XFX designed the GeForce 7950 GT 570M Extreme they took the NVIDIA reference design and overclocked it just a bit, which is nothing new to the graphics card industry. They then went against the flow and used a passive cooling solution on the overclocked card! The end result was music to our ears.

If you lock your keys in your car and you have a remote keyless entry system, you can get outside help to open the car if you have your cell phone with you. Just call someone that has a duplicate key fob that will open your car. Then, hold you cell phone near the door lock and have the person with the key fob call you back. It actually works…

Nvidia Corp., a leading supplier of graphics technologies and core-logic sets, announced on Thursday its new GeForce Go 7700 visual processing unit, which is the world’s first graphics chip produced using 80nm process technology, the thinnest fabrication process used for manufacturing of graphics processing units (GPUs).
