According to Romero, the original development environment for both Doom and Quake was NeXTSTEP; in fact, the first four years of id Software’s efforts were on NeXT. He fondly remembers the days of simultaneously building for three different architectures, and side-by-side map editing across the LAN with cofounder John Carmack.

Ok, my co-workers and I were bored at work, so we decided to get all the computer parts we have and be a little creative, we built one PC on a carbo box and attach it to the bench, and the other one is hanging from the bench with “zipties” lol, let me know what you think!

The expected clash between the two media formats vying for the HD crown has so far been quite the letdown. Plagued by production setbacks (the seeming lack of the blue laser diode required for both HD DVD and Blu-ray drives is often blamed for the production issues), Sony’s Blu-ray has yet to make the substantial impact the company hopes…

Make sure you aren’t eating when you check it out.
Some nice algae growing in the res as well as goop all in the channels of the CPU water block. The moral? Change the coolant in your loops regularly instead of waiting over a year.
