The GeForce 8800 GTX is definitely the top performing card on the market right now, and MSI’s offering is a great example. Overall, nothing else can touch the 8800 GTX at the moment, especially when you look at its performance versus other single-GPU solutions, and smooth gaming at 1080P on a 65″ is simply awesome.

The Tech Report has tested a pair of GeForce 8800 GTX graphics cards running in SLI mode, and the site found that the two cards can effortlessly run the latest games on a 30″ Dell 3007WFP wide-screen display even with AA and AF cranked up. Nvidia’s driver support leaves something to be desired, though.

Based on the small form factor Mini-ITX platform and with an integrated battery management unit, the VoomPC is the world’s less expensive PC designed for the car. It looks like a car audio amplifier but it’s really a PC.

Two years ago, NVIDIA announced its MXM initiative for the mobile market. This new technology would allow for a modular GPU slot in all laptops, thus making servicing and upgrades much easier. But two years later, the consumer still can’t go into a store and buy a graphics card to upgrade their laptop. [H] finds out why.
