NVIDIA and ATI Talk About MXM

Two years ago, NVIDIA announced its MXM initiative for the mobile market. This new technology would allow for a modular GPU slot in all laptops, thus making servicing and upgrades much easier. But two years later, the consumer still can’t go into a store and buy a graphics card to upgrade their laptop. [H] finds out why.
