Ford unveiled the Hydrogen Fusion 999 (formerly known as the fusion XV1) at their Dearborn Development Center today during a presentation of their recent concept and technology demonstration vehicles. They plan to get 200mph Club veteran Rick Byrnes to drive the Fusion 999 faster than 200 mph at the Bonneville Salt Flats next month. Can they do it?

Nice column talking about why Windows will be doomed if it doesn’t go open source. Reasons: the Internet, Web 2.0 and the open source movement. Gives Windows about 10 years before it meets its demise. Really great argument for open source. But the real question is: will it ever happen?
