At launch, just about every Radeon HD 4870 X2 available at retail had the exact same features and specifications. But more recently, a few board partners have introduced factory overclocked variants that take the performance of what is already the fastest graphics card available up a notch. And yes, it’s good for Crysis!

We all know SGI for making high-end workstations for rendering 3D animations for games and movies. But there is a very lucrative part of SGI feeds high-performance computing (HPC) solutions to the government and military. And now it looks like some of SGI’s recent implementations are helping to keep the U.S.’s nuclear weapon stockpile in check.
